Monday Reading & Musing

Cheers to another Musing Mondays.  Hooray!

This is a weekly meme hosted by MizB from Should be Reading.

Musing Mondays (Oct. 3)
Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

• Describe one of your reading habits.

• Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s).

• What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!

• Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it.

 • Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us!

Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it, then!

This week, it would be again a combined meme, because I joined It's Monday! What Are You Reading? Meme which would be the answer to my Monday Musing..
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
This fantastic meme is now hosted by Sheila at One Person's Journey Through a World of Books.

cuckoosFor this week-opener, I am reading the very controversial crime novel, The Cuckoo's Calling.. Yes, everybody has been talking about this, and I'm one of those nosey and curious bookworm, so I got it for Kendra (my Kindle).

A brilliant debut mystery in a classic vein: Detective Cormoran Strike investigates a supermodel's suicide. You may think you know detectives, but you've never met one quite like Strike. You may think you know about the wealthy and famous, but you've never seen them under an investigation like this.

The Cuckoo's Calling by Robert Galbraith, who turned out to be JK Rowling.

My thoughts on this.. later!

I got The Cuckoo's Calling too but don't know when I will get a chance to read it. My reading calendar is full of review books. Come see what I did last week here. Happy reading this week!

Rambling on about books is my favorite thing to do. :)

I tell everyone I know about the books I am reading or have read, I share my books with friends...they actually call it Elizabeth's lending library.

Enjoy your new book..Cuckoo's Calling, and have a great week.

Here, There Be Dragons looks interesting. Kind of a different premise. Will be curious to see your thoughts on it.
