Stacking the Shelves (my first time!)

Yay! This is my first time joining another meme, Stacking the Shelves, hosted by Tynga Reviews. I am so thrilled!

Stacking The Shelves is all about sharing the books you are adding to your shelves, may it be physical or virtual. This means you can include books you buy in physical store or online, books you borrow from friends or the library, review books, gifts and of course ebooks!

Listed and displayed before are some of the books that I have received as gift, bought, and downloaded on Amazon for my Kindle during the week of May 17-24.

Simply Sunday

I'm joining a new Sunday meme this September. Got it from Chiara's Blog - Books for a Delicate Eternity via
http://delicateeternity.wordpress.com

Simply Sunday is a reading meme hosted by Books For A Delicate Eternity. It’s where you can share your favourite quote of the week; be it from a book, a novella, a short story, a poem, a song – whatever you like!

Here's my new favorite quote this first day of September:

"Love has to be reciprocated for it to be real.”
― Alexandra Adornetto, Hades

It's true.. For love to work and be splendid, both parties should share the same feelings, passion, emotions. Love is a two-way street, love is like a dance - it takes two to tango, that's what most people say. So if you want to have a lasting relationship, you need to love and be loved.

Happy Sunday!

www for march

It's been a long time since I last joined WWW Wednesdays. It's actually another meme hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

After 3 months of absence with WWW, here's my share for this week....

To play along, just answer the following three (3) questions… {What are you currently reading? - What did you recently finish reading? - at do you think you’ll read next?}

Here are my answers:

• What are you currently reading?

I'm actually on the 5th chapter of Johanna Lindsey's The Devil Who Tamed Her
too bad, I haven't got nor read the first book of this trilogy, The Heir :(
maybe i'll scour the bookstores again next time for this one.

• What did you recently finish reading?

- the acclaimed book about Doors and imaginary places - from Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere

I'll share some thoughts about this book later on.. Some positive and negative reviews. Overall, it was an interesting read. But I still like Gaiman's Stardust better :)

• What do you think you’ll read next?

The Ex-Factor by Andrea Semple
Meet Martha, a relationship expert guru, who's having problems on her own and doesn't know how to resolve it. I've actually started reading it but I stopped so I could finish the one above (From Johanna Lindsey)..

Hopefully next week, I'll get to finish this :)

TST: Mockingjay

Third Sentence Thursday is a weekly meme for charging into the promote a third sentence fray!

Hosted by Sniffy Kitty's Mostly Books.. Here are her rules for the 3rd sentence review:

1) Take the book you are reading now and post the third sentence

2) Review this sentence anyway you want (funny and silly reviews encouraged)

3) Post a link to your sentence here or if you don't have a blog, just post it in the comments!

For this week, here's my third sentence from the third book of Hunger Games trilogy, MOCKINGJAY:
Over there was the kitchen table.

kinda senseless sentence, huh! The protagonist, Katniss, was actually describing her home, initially stating the room where she shares a bed witth her sister Prim; thus noting where there kitchen table happened to be.

Hopefully, next time, I'll be able to scrap a sentence with sense next week :) And that's my share for this week.. Have fun!
